Business Courses:

BSB20107 Certificate II in Business:

The graduates of this course would be able to work independently in the workplace as an Office Clerk or Receptionist

BSB50407 Diploma of Business Administration:

The course covers essential business skills that are required to operate a business or any organisation in the capacity of Assistant Manager/ Administrator. Although the length of this course is 26 weeks, students are required to attend the college for only 20 weeks; meaning there will be holiday breaks of 6 weeks. Student are required to attend the class 20 hours per week.

Graduates of this course will be able to work independently in the workplace as an Assistant Manager or Assistant Business Administrator. Furthermore, succesful completion of this course will allow students to enter most of the Australian universities with good credit exemptions

BSB60207 Advanced Diploma of Business:

The course will award students a good foundation in business studies and deliver all essential skills to work in the commercial world as an Office Manager and Administrator. Although the length of this couse is 26 weeks, students are required to attend the college for only 26 weeks; meaning there will be a total holiday break of 6 weeks. Students are required to the attend the class 20 hours per week.

Graduates of this course will be able to work independently in the workplace as Business Administrator, Office Administrator and Office Manager.

Tourism Courses:

SIT60107 Advanced Diploma of Tourism:

The course will deliver students all skills required to work in Tourism and Hospitality industry as a Manager of Sales, Marketing and Tourism product development. Although the length of this course is 104 weeks, students are required to attend the college for only 72 weeks; meaning there will be a total holiday break of 32 weeks. Students are required to attend class 20 hours per week.

Graduates of this course will be able to work independently in industries as a Travel Agent, Travel Agent Manager, Tourism Marketing Manager or Hospitality Sales Manager.

Commercial Cookery Courses:

SIT30807 Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery):

This course covers essential skills for Commercial Cookery and Kitchen operations.
It consists of 62 weeks of face to face tuition together with practical learning, food preparation and cooking. During the 62 weeks there will be holiday breaks totalling 12 weeks, but during term times students are required to attend 20 hours per week.

Graduates from this course will have gained practical skills and knowledge that are necessary to gain employment as a cook in a hospitality environment

SIT40407 Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery):

This course provides the opportunity to become competent in advanced cookery skills as well as gaining skills in marketing, sales, customer service, human resources and supervision.
This course runs for 26 weeks including 3 weeks of holiday break. Again students are required to attend 20 hours per week.

Successful graduates from this course will have gained knowledge and practical skills to enable them to be employed in the hospitality industry as a chef.

* Students wishing to undertake SIT40407 Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) are required to previously have completed SIT30807 Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)

Hairdressing Courses:

WRH30106 Certificate III in Hairdressing:

This course covers essential skills with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the campus salon. A broad spectrum of skills encompass haircutting, bleaching and colouring, perming and hair design and styling. Hair structure, growth and/or disorders together with O.H.& S. is covered during the course. During the 52 weeks there will be holiday breaks totalling 12 weeks, but during term times students are required to attend 20 hours per week.

Graduates from this course will have gained practical skills and knowledge that are necessary to gain employment as a professional hairdressing for ladies or gentlemen, and in sales or technical advice in the hairdressing industry.

WRH40106 Certificate IV in Hairdressing:

This course provides the opportunity to become competent in advanced hairdressing skills as well as gaining skills in marketing, sales, customer service, human resources, management and supervision. They will also be able to train and assess others. This course runs for 26 weeks including 3 weeks of holiday break. Again students are required to attend 20 hours per week.

Successful graduates from this course will have gained knowledge and practical skills to enable them to manage or run their own salon and train or supervise others.
